Animo pour la vie

We believe that all pets should have access to the best medical care. Unfortunately, disease can strike in modest income families who cannot cover the cost of treatment. In these cases, euthanasia is often seen as the only option. The Hôpital Vétérinaire Victoria Foundation was established in 2004 in an effort to provide pet owners with a more humane alternative.

The Foundation provides financial aid to families in need of more expensive veterinary care that is essential to their pet's survival. The Foundation is open to all veterinary clinics in the province of Québec. In this way, the Foundation, the participating clinic and the pet owner each cover a portion of the cost of treatment in order to save the animal's life.

In short, Foundation Animo pour la vie is:

  • More than $90,000.00 in veterinary care annually
  • More than 50 animals resqued from euthanasia each year
  • More than 600 surgeries since the beginning of the Foundation, performed by numerous veterinarians coming from various clinics from accross the province

Our board is composed entirely of volunteers who care about animal wealfare cause.
